FEATURED PROJECTS

Residential design is where my journey with interiors began, when renovating our 1940's Dutch Colonial turned from a hobby into a career path, over three years ago.  I enjoy dreaming up new designs, and combining patterns and colors in a timeless way, that will look as fresh and welcoming when they are first designed as they do ten years down the road.  I strive to create spaces that will stand the test of time and homeowners will love for years to come!

Although residential design is where my passion lies, I still enjoyed the commercial projects that were a part of my coursework at MATC.  They gave me an opportunity to gain experience into the importance of space planning for various industries, specifying contract grade products and finishes, and generally how to design a space that will receive heavy-use by the public. Valuable insights that I will carry with me during my time as an interior designer.

I didn't expect it during my first architectural drawing class, when AutoCad wouldn't seem to do anything I wanted it to, but it has easily become one of my favorite parts of the design process.  It always brings me joy to see my vision come to life as more lines, curves and details are added to the drawing.
